Remember, not all Stress Management training courses
are the same – there are many generic trainers
in the UK who offer Stress Management training,
but who don’t necessarily have the clinical
experience to really understand the way that Stress
impacts on the individual and therefore the organisations
that they work for.
What you won’t find on this website are
any weird, off-the-wall ideas about Stress Management
– the ‘sitting around in circles holding
hands and chanting’ approach isn’t
used here (it may work for some people, but it’s
not right for most of us), nor will you be bogged
down in psycho-babble theory – all the techniques
used in individual therapy and suggested during
Stress Management training programmes are wherever
possible, evidence-based, common sense oriented
and rooted in clinical experience.
